Church Activities

Musical Activities

The choir is presently in recess until an organist or musician becomes available.

These would usually practice after Sunday Services or during the week and participate at church festival times, Christmas and Easter or on occasions such as the YUC Arts and Crafts Show weekend.

Guest soloists, choirs and ensembles also contribute to worship services.

Friendship Group

The Friendship Group is a ladies' group that meets every 4th Monday each month at 2pm in the church hall.

We aim to provide social interaction through conversation, craft and sharing interests over afternoon tea. We encourage those looking for companionship to join us.

Tiffins

This group of retired men from the Yarralumla and St James, Curtin congregations meet monthly on the third Tuesday morning for light refreshment – the Tiffins - then for a time to listen or discuss. Many of the activities are presented by the members of their voyages through life with occasional visiting speakers covering issues from environment, interesting books, theology, travel, hobbies, current affairs and topical issues. These meetings in members’ homes have continued for over fourteen years. Convenor - Ph. 6281 3620
