The Choir

Music is, and always has been, an integral part of the services of worship at Yarralumla Uniting Church. Throughout the year, from February to December, the choir presents choral music every second Sunday, drawing on a wide repertoire of classical and quality modern compositions. On the alternate Sundays, there is usually a guest soloist or instrumentalist or, on occasions, a visiting choir. In the lead-up to Christmas each year, the choir presents a special program of Christmas music.

The choir is always on the lookout for new singers. Choir practices are on Tuesdays between the hours of 4.30pm to 6pm.

The principal church organists, who play on alternate weeks, are Barbara Hall (6286-5528) and Ian Lynch (6251-5925).
