Meeting Together

BIBLE DISCUSSION GROUP

This is led by our minister making an analysis of Bible texts, BYO sandwiches, with tea/coffee provided.
Meeting will resume after Easter during which time there will Easter Studies.

ADULT FELLOWSHIP

The Adult Fellowship meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 10am. Meetings alternate between business meetings and "social" mornings with a special guest.

The Fellowship is affiliated with UCAF in the Presbytery of Canberra Region, and through that with the National body. Other affiliations include National Council of Women and Australian Church Women. Our special interests include mission in Australia and beyond, Force 10, and hospital visiting.

Fund-raising and practical service to the church community used to be a major focus of the Fellowship, but this is changing. In mid-year we host a mid-winter lunch with guest speaker, and at Christmas a morning tea to which church women from all over Canberra are invited. New members and visitors are always welcome.

FRIENDSHIP GROUP

The Friendship Group is a ladies' group that meets every 4th Monday each month at 2pm in the church hall.

We aim to provide social interaction through conversation, craft and sharing interests over afternoon tea. We encourage those looking for companionship to join us.

Our friendly meetings are proof of our achievements.

TIFFINS

This group of retired men from the Yarralumla and St James, Curtin congregations meet monthly on the third Tuesday morning for light refreshment – the Tiffins - then for a time to listen or discuss. Many of the activities are presented by the members of their voyages through life with occasional visiting speakers covering issues from environment, interesting books and Bibles, travel, hobbies and current affairs and topical issues. These meetings in members’ homes have continued for over twelve years
